Week 1

Week 1 of EDTS 523: Introduction to Educational Technology

This post is actually for the assignment. But, I figure if I'm going to keep a blog, I should keep a blog that not only fulfills the assignment, it should also be engaging and (most importantly) I should have fun doing it. (I would insert in an emoticon - I'm just not feeling it...)

As with most courses, the first week seems to be the lightest. I am excited about some of the assignments for the course. Obviously I've already started on the blog and I even created a new Facebook account. That's the one thing that I am not excited about -- the FB... I started a rant about FB... but just deleted it.

So there it is. This week blogs and Facebook. And, actually Facebook has come in handy for Groups. I do work with teens so I am in several FB groups (that's really the only thing I'm still on it for...) But, I am also friends with many of them. That's why I created a new account, you really don't want to see what urban teens with two much time on their hands post.
